I LOVE these candles. They have the most exotic and refreshing scents I've come across yet. If you are sensitive to strong scents, I wouldn't recommend it, because they are strong. The umbrella looks like the picture I ordered from and that's good.

I forgot to fold the umbrella downbefore a major rain and wind storm we had last month and it was still standing thanks to the very effective companion stand it was in and the wind didn't seem to rip or affect the umbrella at all. I'm not going to make a habit of leaving it out however.

The other pleasant thing was that Amazon applied a cedit balance to the purchase that I didn't even know I had. Nice going.

Blokus encourages creative thinking and has received a Mensa award for promoting healthy brain activity. The goal of this game is for players to fit all of their pieces onto the board. When placing a piece it may not lie adjacent to the player's other pieces, but must be placed touching at least one corner of their pieces already on the board. The player who gets rid of all of their tiles first is the winner and strategic thinking helps as you block moves from your opponent. Blokus sometimes comes to an end because there are no more possible moves.

Four players make this abstract game especially fast and exciting; however, it can be just as fun for two or three players. Blokus has come up with a number of different ways to play the game to make it more thrilling when playing with less than four players. Draft Blokus allows a player to use more than one color and Reverse Blokus reverses the entire game so that the person who places the least amount of tiles on the board is the winner. It can even be played in a solitaire version when one player attempts to place all of their pieces in a single sitting. A game of Blokus typically lasts a 30 minutes. As a practical feature, raised edges on the board help keep the tiles in place and allow convenient clean-up. This game includes 84 pieces in four vibrant colors, an instruction guide, and one gameboard with 400 squares.

Blokus is simple to understand, but the game's complexity is revealed shortly after everyone begins to play. It can be addictive, even for those not normally into abstract games. Blokus is a catalyst for spatial thinking, as players form images in their mind before placing the pieces on the board. Children and adults can play together for hours of competitive family fun. As Europe's 2003 Game of the Year, Blokus is adored by many and even played in professional tournaments.

However, this game is the best. I find that many board games drag on forever, which gets extremely annoying. Blokus is fast-paced, and really makes a person think. Everyone I know who has tried Blokus has become an instant fan.

It's an excellent game for many ages. I've seen 8-year olds compete effectively with adults. There's no single strategy that guarantees victory. The only weakness of the game is that while it is excellent with 4 players, it is weaker with only 2 or 3.

it's a great family party game. our family loves games from grandparents to grandchildren. For the Christmas gift this year we all had to buy a board game for our families gift exchange. My brother Billy bought Blokus. A few of us sat down to play ages between 7 and 67 and it was fun, easy to play and no one got upset because they couldn't keep up and those who needed a challenge got one. Now it's March and at least 3 of us own it. We can play whose ever house we are at.

This animal bag is a clever solution to the problem of storing overabundant stuffed animals and it worked for a few weeks before the bag split along a seam, the zippers are excellent but the sewing on the seams is not strong enough. It is not an inexpensive item and I am disappointed that it has fallen apart...

The boon bag has been a great way of getting my child's stuffed animals organized into one space, and creating a fairly comfortable "bean bag" chair in the process. The obvious downside is that the toys are not particularly visible (which could be good now that I think about it), but they are easily accessible.

I thought I knew a little something about finishing furniture until I saw these excellent videos. David Sorg's narration provided me with an educational experience unlike any other I have ever received from a do-it-yourself video. His intuitive teaching skills come through as he guides the listener step-by-step through each phase of his projects.

Since I love nothing more than a good bargain, I had several odd pieces of old furniture I had picked up at yard sales. With the help of Sorg's instructions on a tung oil finish, I transformed a dusty $5 wooden chair into a charming side chair for my kitchen. When not in use, it holds my prize ivy plant, which I move from the foyer to the kitchen/dining area. I also had an end table which belonged to my parents that I finished according to Sorg's instructions for creating the look of marble. It turned out beautiful!

I would recommend this video series to anyone who wants to make something out of nothing, update the look of a room, or just wants to learn the basics of quality furniture finishing. Thanks for the education!
